with doors closed or for flagging without having to open the door. The openable

- Remember
the last time
you had an engine problem and needed to open your hood? Unless you have
a set of these knobs, you probably spent most of the 5 minutes alloted for
a repair looking for a wrench to remove the bolts that secure the hood.

ROOF
VIBRATION ISOLATION MOUNT - These
mounts are use on "peak" roofed M9, M19 & MT19 cars as well
as on late style Union Pacific MT14's. Like any rubber product, these mounts
deteriorate with time. If you still have the originals, check them for de-bonding.
If one is bad, replace them all because the rest will probably fail soon.

SWIVELING HEADLIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET CASTINGS - These
two castings bolt together to form the mounting bracket used on Fairmont
open cars. The assembly attaches to the handrail with a "U" Bolt. This bracket
allows the headlight to swivel left and right as well as up and down. A
bent brake lever was used by Fairmont as the contol lever. Please note that
the headlight assembly and brake arm handle is not included.

MT19 INNER HOOD MODIFICATION
- We have designed this
as a replacement for the factory MT19 inner hood panel that was a hold over
from the M19 design. In the M19, the radiator was forward of this panel
and there was little need to have access to that area. With a 4 cycle engine
installed, the carburetor area was virtually impossible to reach from the
inside of the car. We designed this openable inner hood to solve this problem.
The engine area is very easy to access from inside the cab and the oil level
can be checked without removing the engine cover. The engine cover board
will need to be shortened to allow for the extra room used for engine access.
Don't forget to order the plastic knobs to make the panel really easy to
open.

CAB SHELF INSTALLATION -
This shelf is designed to be installed in any M9, M14, MT14, M19 or MT19
cab. The installation
includes two diamond plate angles that are attached with the same bolts
used to fasten the roof to the side panel. The shelf is bolted to these
angles and extends the entire width of the cab. The foward edge of the shelf
has a tall lip that almost reaches the roof to keep stored items from falling
forward in the event of a quick stop. The rear has a smaller angled lip
that helps keep items from falling in your lap. The shelf is an excellent
place to mount a radio, store caps, jackets etc. The black naugahide covering
in the photo is not included nor is the center light installation.
